Gorgeous theater. If your jet lag can handle being in a dark room, check out a show here. The second level balcony has an outdoor terrace that is perfect to watch the sunset over Prague Castle.

Easy to buy tickets, easy to find everything. Comfortable to sit and wait in the cafe just one floor down from where the plays are set. Free wifi. Ok coffee. Nice lemonades! Older sandwiches. Ok cakes

I was a bit sad there is no English translation of the plays, though if you attend opera or ballet it doesn't matter. The place is stunning and the experience overwhelms, totally recommend it!

The National Theatre in Prague is known as the Alma Mater of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art. Today consists of three artistic ensembles – opera, ballet and drama.
